The solar-heated swimming pools offer a choice of activities. A special attraction is the combined swimming and diving pool with its salt water. In addition to this, the non-swimmer basin with massage jets, a water mushroom and the 58-meter waterslide are very popular, too. For the little ones a paddling pool with a slide and playing equipment is available.

The moated castle of Glatt: Arts centre and museums
The moated castle of Glatt was renovated and redecorated in 1998-2001. With modest means this high-ranking cultural monument was transformed into an appealing building. Four museums under two roofs await the visitors: there are two museums focusing on armoury and providing information on the castle, and an art museum - the Castle Gallery and the Museum of Peasant Life, which is located in a converted tithe barn. A museum trail guides the visitors through all four of them, making them find out more about the culture of our region.

The ruin of Albeck Castle
The first owners of the local saltworks and lords of the town were, from the 11th to the 13th century, the Earls of Sulz. Around 1270, power passed to the Lords of Geroldseck, who built Albeck Castle to the southwest of the town. Although destroyed in 1688, Albeck Castle is still today one of the most beautiful ruins in the Black Forest. At the instigation of the Lords of Geroldseck, Sulz was granted its town charter in 1284 by King Rudolf von Habsburg. In the course of the Geroldseck Feud, which made the citizens of Sulz suffer a lot, the ambitious Earls of Württemberg gradually managed to wring control of Albeck Castle and the town with its saltworks from the Lords of Geroldseck.

Close to Renfrizhausen, there are the former Monasteries of Kirchberg and Bernstein. They are really worth visiting. Kirchberg lies on a hill with a view of the Swabian Mountains. Its buildings and the beautiful baroque church merit close perusal by those interested in history of art. Today it is used as a leisure and conference centre.
